I've already embarrassed a little punk in a protege 5. It was so much fun.

MP3: 140 HP, 2.0
Protege5: 130 HP, 2.0
You really embarassed him?, or just beat him? I'm not too much into racing but does 10extra HP really give you the advantage?
Scenario:
1995 Mazda Rx7: Twin Turbo Rotary, 275hp?
2001 Chevy Camaro Z28: 310 HP, 5.7L LS1 V8 SFI

Yes, I embarrassed him. We both wound up at Burger King and he had his girlfriend with him and parked right next to me. I don't think it was so much the extra 10 h.p. as it was he was a bit younger than i am and hasn't been driving as long. Not that I'm old. 26 is not old, dammit! LOL.

Come on Enry, just do it !! Smoke the friggin slow a** station wagon. Make the MP3 boys proud.
my friend saw a two p5s and an mp3 "racing" down to 20 last night, doing 4ple lane changes (and failing).
then 2 p5s pulled up next to each other and one guy did a countdown with his fingers.. except when they started racing my friend couldn't tell if they had racing or not. apparently the p5 is damned slow. must be the shit tires + station wagon (heaviers) + less tuned computer. so HP isn't all that counts, weight matters too.
It's gonna be really fucking annoying in the coming weeks as more and more ppl are gonna get these p5s. not because the car sucks, but because of the pretentious punks who are going to want to race.... maybe I'm just a stuck up elitist, but I don't feel like racing p5s.

sounds like yo uguys didn't really research the weight difference...
not that i think 10 pounds makes a difference... but the mp3 isn't lighter... it's been proven that hatches are lighter the coupes/sedans...
civic hatch is much lighter then the civic coupe... i know cause i've owned one... i'm 150% sure that in a situation like this you only won because the other drivers were a shittier drivers... cause if i was driving the protege5 i'm sure you wouldn't have "killed" it
