Um..the picture below is protty's RPM gauge..which y'all should be used to..

http://www.hananet.com/zeroboard/data/lmcboard/resize_DSC08070.jpg

But if you see carefully you will notice there are two places that can mean 0 on the gauge..the very bottom place that actually says 0, and the one that's right above it which, by calculation, should mean 0 too.

Why is this so? On the picture, am i running at 500 RPM or is it more?
Same thing goes for the speedo. Speedo has two 0 placements too.
Why did mazda make two 0 places? (confused) just for fun?

I have been wondering this for a quite while and couldn't possibly figure it out myself..anyone know of a good answer?

no, that is 750 rpms... there is just no range between 500 prms and 0, because your car cant (and wont cause the ecu wont let it) idle there

there is no such a thing as dumb! Its just people are smart to a certain extend, hehe. And when it comes to learning something, people just expand their knowledge and become smarter. If you have any other questions, please, dont hesitate to ask. (search feature should also be helpful, hehe.)

Man, if you think there's no such thing as dumb, you need to work HelpDesk for awhile.
