I'm sure most of you experience the headlights dimming when hitting the power window switch.

When I put my windows up and they get to the top, not only do my headlights dim but my Greddy TT resets.

What is the exact cause of this? Is it the battery? Is it the alternator? Is it a crappy electrical system? The only other thing I have wired is a radar detector. I need this to go away because I don't want problems as I add more electronics (gauges, lights, gadgets, etc.) to my car.

I have the same problem. I think it could be a grounding problem, or so I heard. Try getting a grounding kit or making your own or. Maybe upgrade to a optima yellow top or something.

That's what I'm trying to avoid. Is it the grounding kit or the battery?

I don't want to end up spending 300 bucks trying to figure this out.

ground kits cost about 30 bucks homemade, and there is a good how to in the how to forum. Optima batteries are about 130, but the grounding kit should fix this issue.

its a little of both... a grounding kit will help to some extent.. but our batteries suck too
