Hello all. I have had my MP3 for just two weeks now and, I love it.

One problem. While I was driving to work today, I heard a noise coming from the back of the car. After work, I looked under the car to find out that the muffler had come loose from one of the support damping mounts. It was a very simple fix. Just support the weight of the muffler with one hand and, reinsert the muffler support into the damping mount. Easy. I see this as a design flaw. There needs to be a more secure way to keep the muffler from coming loose. It may do it again after some hard cornering.

Let me know if anyone else has experienced this problem.

Put a zip-tie on the end of the exhaust hanger rod, but not too tight, just enough to keep the rubber hanger from coming off. Then, if you ever need to take the exhaust off, cut the zip-tie with a pair of dykes.

Hey, I'm just trying to help the poor guy out. It took 4 YEARS for anyone to even respond!!!

His muffler is probably been dragging on the ground the whole time!

*sigh* that is one thing I have noticed about this board. Ancient threads come from the dead for no reason. Oh well, back to the beer. (alright)
