MWM Info and Updates

OK everyone, since I am not getting responses from email and more people look in here, please read and respond to the following if you have some input. Thankyou!

I know we have a couple of cruises coming up which should be lots of fun. I was wondering what everyone would like to due for the rest of the year.

I would like to have a bigger BBQ before the weather turns bad. Maybe goto the Drive in afterwards if it is still open.

Any NFL fans out there ( Raiders fan here ). Seeing that this is right around the corner, we can plan events with this in mind.

I also know we have some gamers in the group. I would like to plan an event based on this. Any ideas? Maybe some type of small tournament that we could host. I did something like this when I was in the service for Tekken. Turned out pretty good. Maybe make a SOCOM II tourney or something similiar where there can be teams, like on the show ARENA on G4TechTV.
Could be a yearly event to make the club known and raise some money.

Also, MWM needs to decide on a charity or two to support. I would like to have this ironed out before years end and have things lined up for next year.


Lastly, I would like everyone to give a big thanks to the following members how have put allot of their time into helping MWM grow:

Michelle (Red Zeppelin) for her dedication to club with making sure events are set up and posted in here for everyone to read.

Ric ( SilverP5Ghost ) and Kain for being the newest members and already getting a good start on the club websight.

Ryan ( Mazdamanic5 ) for being there when club members really need his help and for email duties. Cpet for lately since he is so busy with work. Take a break man.LOL

and last but not least

Tom for taking and posting pics of club outings.

Everyone please keep in mind that this is your club and it is only as good as you make it. This club has the potential to be great and do great things not only for each of us but for the communitys in which we live. I would like to see this club grow and have fun but the only way we can do this is if our membership increases. Things are going great so far so this is just a reminder for everyone to keep it up.

Last point: Although Trevor and David did show great interest in joining MWM, I havent heard from either one of them in over 2 months. They are #2 and 3. I originally was going to keep the slots open for them but i don't want holes in the club roster. I would like everryone to vote for this deciding if we should keep the numbers available for them, let other members change there number if they like at their cost for new logos which would be like 10 bucks, or just give the numbers to new members. Again please vote.

Just be there on the 12th !!!! Hopefully we'll get a good turn out......Ryan has to work and Tom hasn't RSVP'd yet. Neither have Brent or Ric.

I had a good time last Weds at the car show. I think it would be cool to have a little section of the parking lot for the MWM group at some point, but I think that may be just dreaming. Kain and I got a couple of beers afterwards, it was a good night. I'd like to continue doing that in the future. The BBQ idea sounds great. I also like the idea of a Tech day or something. Working on cars, demos, stuff like that. Lots more car stuff since it is a car club. It would be cool to get a project car. Like a 323 and convert it to a GTX. I don't know, just ideas.

Oooh tech days are fun.... but really need good interest to pull one off... Definitely like the idea though, working on the P5 is fun, but more fun with other folks to BS with
