I got my carbon fiber DGMotorsports cover today and it came with no directions on how to install it. So I got the brackets and took a look and couldn't really figure out how they mounted. It's going on a non MSP/MP3 engine.

I'm not sure if you have the right mounts on your valve cover. I wanted to mount a stock Mazdaspeed cover on mine, but when i compared the two engines side to side, i saw the 'Speed had some extra bolt mounts for it. Some that my 03 LX didn't have... I hope for your sake the DGM one has brackets for the non-speed valve cover...
PS. when i say side by side, i physically had a mazdaspeed and my LX side by side to compare.
If you figure it out, please let me know. I want one for mine.

I got it mounted with one bracket. I got the bracket closer to the oil cap to mount up just fine with the supplied non msp/mp3 brackets. However the bracket on the left side is not mounted. I can no figure out how it is possibly mounted to the engine and then to the cover. It's too short. It's on well enough that it wont go anywhere right now, but I'd rather have it mounted to both brackets so if anyone figures that one out post up pics or try to explain it. Pics would be best. This needs a really good in detail How-to.
