Taillights

This may not make sense as i have no clue wtf is the real name for these taillights....I saw a jetta the other day with them there like tailights that are basically a really tinted red i'm talkin dark almost a black....and there's no definition between the brake light reverse lights or nething it's just a solid red but when the lights light up u see the separate lights and everything they look really cool IMO...dunno if this was done by painting or if they make a part like this? I've tried searchin the web for them but as i have no clue wtf there called kinda hard to find...If some1 has a how-to on this pls post if it's even possible to do it...Thanks (2thumbs)

how do u install these are they just stickers? or they go inside the light ?

I think its a sticker like material that you apply on the outside.

i didn;t see them, but does blue bat make red overlays for the sedans? To achieve all red tails?

corksport has them they refer to them as just jdm taillights and they do look good
