Just installed My ipod

I installed it using the AUX CD hack founded here (http://www.rx8club.com/showthread.php?postid=239804#post239160) and instead of using the male cable y used a female conector that i installed on my dash...
and to use it u have to put a "blank CD" so it can use the CD input

too bad you don't have to hack the HU anymore.
for about $100 you can activate the AUX feature using the ALPINE cd changer adapter and an RCA adpater.

totally reversable and NO BLANK CD needed!!!

I see a lot of different opinions on this. Will it work? Have you tried it? Has anyone actually done this with the Alipine adapter?

(wiggle) Just installed my PIE/aux in hook up and now I have Sirius and iPod without hacking my deck all apart. It also is a major improvement over the FM modulator I had before. Well worth $100.
