Micaspeed! was getting those with his Delsing Motorsports business. He has since said he was getting out of doing the fabrication on some of his other parts. I'm not sure if he is still a distributor for KW or not. Try and PM him.

Bill,

Yeah, we handle the KW'S. Here is the update. I am working with KW as we speak. The original sets were designed for the regular Protege's and are great. They are designing a MAZDASPEED Protege specific kit. Spoke with the guys just the other day. They are almost complete with the redesign. They have taken our real world input and are implementing the changes. These include, among other things, heavy duty bar mounts.

These guys have been awesome. Nobody else offers a Speed specific set. They listened to us and were willing to do something special.

BTW, you will want a set of the DELSING MOTORSPORT front camber kits to go with the coilovers. We offer the only camber plates which will work with the KW'S.

Also, should have the first run of rear bar brackets available to ship by the end of the month. Welder is working on them now.

Let me know if we can help.

Godspeed!
Dave

Are the regular protege coilovers supposed to fit the mp3 or would mp3 owners go with the speed kit as well?

Hey,

Just got off the phone with the KW guys. They have digested all the info, and are working on the kit now in Germany. They are setting up new jigs for the improvements/ design changes.

We will be testing a full Grand AM Cup Motorsport V3 setup from them soon. I tell you, the street set up is the best for the MSP and MP3, for that matter all Protege's. Nobody has the sophisticated valving they offer.

Patience will pay off here, so when we hear more, I will let everybody know.

Thanks,

Godspeed!

BTW, the MSP kit is valved/set up for the Racing Beat sway bars, so if you have a reg. Protege, it will bolt up, but should upgrade bars.

I am debating these, the Teins or the FLT-a2s.

Don't know much about any of them though.

Blow the dust off this thread since Dave said he was going to talk to the KW guys in one week, that was 8-30-04. I didn't want it to go an entire year.

I'm pretty sure Dave has fully fallen off the face of the Earth. I haven't seen a post from him in a long, long time.
