Which Gauges..need a lil help.

Ok i got 3 gauge spots to fill. I dont want a pillar so if we can keep it under 3 that be great. now my questions...

I see all different opinions. Some have good points some dont. so im a little confused.

I know i definately want a boost gauge. so i have one ordered.

I plan on modding the car to about 250whp in the future. now i know a wb 02 is great but when i go enginemanagement (either mpi or emanage) i plan to only tune it on the dyno. should i have one anyhow since they can monitor 02? is it a good one to get for regular monitoring or is it only for tuning?

I figure egt is probably the same as wb02. so same thing (but i also hear egt is touchy as far as what numbers mean so it might not be that great for monitoring since it can be affected by things other than af ratio)

i have an full sweep fuel pressure, which i dont know if id need other than to tell me that my fuel pressure is to high for the injectors i have.

oil pressure i hear is good to have incase i get any leaks or pressure drops but is it good to have, i think it is but im not sure.

any ideas/comments?

I would go with a boost, wideband A/F, and egt. A wideband is very important to monitor when tuning whether at a dyno or not you should always no if your running to rich or lean. A boost gauge is a given and a egt would be important as well

now if i have wideband o2 (most likelt aem uego cause itll match), would i need egt too would that be redundant (in other words would i be better to spend money on another gauge)?

I dont see a need for any other gauge. The only other gauge I would suggest is a oil press. But I would rather have egt since your tuning

I say get the oil pressure and EGT as well...EGT will be my next gauge for sure.

ok well im gonna go boost, wideband 02, and...... im not sure on the last one, i see all your points...just not sure lol i guess i woudlnt need oil pressure except to just tell me if i have a pressure issue, which would be good to know, or egt hmmmmm
