The new car will be based on the Japanese market Honda Fit. Expect our version to be powered by a 1.5-liter 4-cylinder linked to a 5-speed manual or a CVT with 7-speed manual shifting. Our sources inside Honda say this model will be very close in size and price to Scion's $13,000 xA model. Like Scion, Honda will have a full host of accessories for the new model.</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>

I think it looks like a Honda badged Kia Rio.

Not pretty, but I'd rather see commuters in these than the freakin' Excursions and Suburbans. Hopefully, we are heading in that direction...

looks like a lancer to me...any better pics?

they need to decide their market though. They mentioned scion, kia, and hyundai...
If they wanna compete with the Koreans the price needs to be under 10K and have a good warranty.
If they wanna compete with scion they need to keep the price under 15K and make sure there is a large aftermarket ready and waiting for it...

I'm not interested in that in the slightest. Looks like the child of a honda civic and toyota echo

chevy aveo anyone? gross....this is quite the opposite...aveo is a daewoo rebadged as a chevy...it has had several recalls and chevy even had to stop sales of all aveo models due to a dangerous defect

the fit/jazz became the 1st car in japan to outsell the corolla in 30 years

if the hatch came with a p5 type rear spoiler, that hatch would be a really nice car. if i could get one with a 10k rpm redline with like 200 hp, i'd spooge myself
