Banzai! (rei)
Is there anything I can adjust on a stock 2003 Protege ES?? Besides the sound system bass/treble I mean... I looking for stuffs like throttle body responsivness, idleing, coilovers (?), pedal strenght, pedals positions, clutch 'snapiness', brake bias and such.
The more I'll know the better it will be!

You can adjust the rake of the front tires (caster) all the way pretty easily by turning the mounting block for the strut 1/4 of a turn. =) Just jack it up, unbolt the block, then push down and turn it. Hehee. I can be more detailed if you're really interested.

plenty of Protege enhancements you will find there :)
hmm, how about boost? You can almost always find a used turbo kit if you want to go all out. (naughty)
But seriously, there's plenty you can do. To see what is out there for you, I would check out protege garage, corksport and even tirerack. There are a lot of good vendors with performance parts for proteges, I can't even remember them all.
my recommendations:
1. Suspension!!
Hands down, I recommend suspension first. I love my springs (Eibach pro-kit), but my car came with them installed (I bought it used). There's plenty of other good options, and I might have gone with coilovers instead.
2. Get a used MP3 ECU, advanced timing and stuff. A couple were on here for sale a few weeks ago, not sure if they sold yet.
3. If I were you, I would search the forums for what types of fluids are most recommended:
- go synthetic with the motor oil (ie. Mobil1)
- get some good gear oil for your tranny (Redline MT-90 or Shockproof)
- get some good brake fluid (Castrol GTX or Motul)
4. And you could always get some stainless braided hydraulic lines for better brake and clutch responsiveness. That has helped a little bit for some people.
People are always selling stuff here on the forum too.
oh yeah, and the obvious stuff is available too, intake (short-ram or cold-air), headers, exhaust, etc.
