Alright, I don't want this thread to become a flame war so please don't start bashing companies or whatnot like some of the other threads have become but I really want to get the best information before I make a purchase...

I really wanted to get hardpipes and a BOV (hate that turkey (moon)) before I left for school which isn't really seeming possible anymore but I would still like to order a set. I've been looking mostly at Turbohoses and the DSMConvert pipes because they both come available with the flange which would save me from doing my own. but I wanted to know what you all thought would be the best choice. I also have the option of saving my money for a FMIC or getting something like a corksport exaust. Keep in mind that if possible I would like to keep my warranty intact so please vote and post your reasons for your vote...thanks (wrc)

oh yeah, i'm looking to stay around 400 dollars if possible meaning i'd have to save for a few to get turbohose's pipes...

also, people have been saying that Turbohoses comes with something with their kit that DSM lacks, what would that be. Sorry I know this has kind of been answered but I'm looking for more of a consumer prospective over the vendor since they are battling a lot right now (doughpoke)

you cant get Turbo Hoses and a greddy type s for under 400 bucks but if you already have the BOV i would go with turbo hoses.

But if not

between DSMConvert's hardpipes vs. the exhaust i would go for the Hardpipes with bov and get a CAI down the road....

How is buying a more expensive set of Hardpipes (Turbohoses) and the BOV saving mone? But the $200 DSM pipes with BOV isnt?

it depends on what you plan on doing with your car in the future.

but for sure the first thing you should do is get rid of thise plastic pipes.
you should go look at the turbohoses SMIC results thread, they could not even test the factory pipes, because they caused to many problems.

you should also read the temp. difference between the alluminum and steel pipes.

i would get hardpipes without the bov (the turkey isnt too bad with hardpipes) and the midpipe from dsm..

yeah... mid pipe would be the best cheap option for anybody with a turbo... unless you want a more (well extreme) agressive exhaust note the CorkSport... For sure you'll feel a power difference there.... I'm still going to do the intake last... still figuring out where this SMIC is goin... hardpipes with bov is still 1 of my top 10 to do lists...
