Help! clutch chatter

I've heard of ppl having clutch chatter in their msp's, I'd like any input i have a chatter that only vibrates in 3rd gear...when in 3 the car will make a loud vibrating noise....what harm is this doing, if any and what can i do to fix it this msp is 1.2 yr old and has 27,000 miles thanks

also once the car gets heated up it becomes extremely hard to shift to any gear

just out of curiousity, have you checked your tranny fluid level?

it may be more related to the tranny than clutch, i was reading somewhere on here that some people were experiencing a loss of about a quart of tranny fluid after about a year...

i would say check the obvious first, then start trying to determine if you need to buy a new clutch...

yes, actually this problem has been going on for about 2 weeks and a week ago i changed my fluid and its full...thanks for the reply
