Please help quick with plug change

This is my first time changing my own plugs, and I'm running into a problem. My spark plug socket sticks the the plugs harder than it sticks to my ratchet extension. Is there some kind of trick to retrieving your socket once the new plugs are in?

you can try turning it in the opposite direction just a tad to see if it comes loose

Gently rock it around and apply upward pressure. or put a very light coat of oil or vaseline (KY is best if you have it because it is water based).

Certainly, it's good for any situation where things get a little tight or stuck :)

any time that hole tightens up, i just apply a little lube and it does the trick fine
