when it rains, the damn breaks always make noise - when i let go of the breaks, a noise always happens

Sorry, but my brakes don't make any "unusual" noises in the rain.

No rain related noises here either -the only noises occur when backing up.

only when my rotors are covered with rust dust from the humidity, rain etc... it's all normal, if you have mags, your rotor is less covered and it is more noticeable.

I too hear a strange sound but not In my brakes but it appears that comes from my front shocks...Only when it rains and I take a small slow hole in the street.

Hope U can help us...

My shocks whistle very very very slightly going over bumps. I figure it's from the air being forced out of the absorber while going over the bump. The sound can only be heard with windows open, music off. Barely noticeable to be anoying.

My brakes make a clamping noise as well when I am backing up and I let off of them. I don't get any squealing. And the back breaks get way more dust then the fronts. My front windows also make a wierd noise sometime. These are all just a few of the bugs that need to be worked out with a new car. The window noise doesn't bother me as much as the brake issue. The issue with the brakes actually worries me but hopefully it will not be a problem to woeey about.

My clutch pedal makes a squeeking noise when it rains, I guess the rubber boot gets wet or something... (bike)

On the brake dust on rear wheels issue. I cleaned my wheels for the first time in 3 weeks (my bad) today, and the front wheels had the same amount of brake dust on them as the rear wheels. I was mad because the fronts are usually fairly clean and I had to work a little harder.

remember the complaint i had with the engine light on. . . its been almost 2 weeks and now the light is not on anymore - maybe it's just the light is messed up.. .. could that be it ?

I bet you the dealership would be really helpful with a check engine light. Just a thought.

I have the exact same problem! My shocks "squeel" when it rains and I go over a speed bump or anythyng of that sort. Weird! (dunno) (scratch)
