u.s. model vs canadian model

From what I heard, the main differences between the U.S. and canadian model are
1. sound system
the u.s. model has the z919 whereby the canadian one has the z828. I think the only difference is the removable faceplate on the z828
2. colors
the us model comes in bright yellow and laser mica blue.. but the canadian one is only in the blue
3. floormats
now this annoyed me, because I wanted the mp3 floormats :|, but all I got was the generic protege mats

and the delivery date. mazda took damn near forever to get those 250 mp3s here. it sure didn't help that the cars got broken into at the vancouver docks and the sound systems were stolen...

if anyonw knows of any other differences let me know.

What about the seat color? I saw the US version are coming with purple/black/silver seat, and while mine is dark grey/black/silver in Canada.

Is that a standard color in the US? or it is optional?

P.S: I think the z828 is better in terms of the looking.

Im in the US, i think the only differences are the obviosuly the speedo. but the Radio you right we got the Z929. my got ripped off, im going to try and see if they will give me the Z828 instead. and the floor mats mine say MP3 on them, i say you guys call up MNAO and bitch, you guys should have gotten mp3 matts .

but we have the dark grey/silver/black.

and i think over all the color numbers were like 1000 blue and 500 yellow over all. i havnt seen any yellow ones yet. i think we got 1000 and you guys got 500 of the cars.

I think the correct production number of the US is 1500. 1400 blue and 100 yellow. Canada is only getting 250 units and only blue is available.

PS: Japan only have 100 MP3(Mazdaspeed), 170hp + 4WD and gold rims. I wish I have one of those.

Yes, it will fit right into your MP3.

Actually i saw on the web a place here in Montreal that sold the FS-ZE engine... don't remember where i'll try to find the link.

If i could transfer my warranty when putting the FS-ZE engine, i'd probably dish out the money to put it in .... but i don't think ill be switching engine anytime soon...

Yeah, but even if you drop in an in-take system, in would void most part of your engine warranty already. Now I am thinking about to get a new in-take, header and cams. This should give you about 10-20hp extra.

the cool part about intake is that it's easy to remove in case of engine problems and hard to prove it was ever there. cams/header otoh is risky.

we're both in montreal.

i found some number on racing beats website:

oh and one thing about mods and your warranty just remember one thing when you go to a dealership THEY HAVE TO PROVE THE MOD CAUSED THE PROBLEM. you DONT have to prove it DIDNT cause it.. THEY have to prove it DID. do let the dealers fuck you on it. if you have an itake. and you get a rock in the TB ya they will void it. but if you have a header and your in intake/TB/intake manifold gets fucked up they have to fix it or prove it caused the problem.. cool im the only american. im special.
