Does anyone know of any easily accessible soup-ups for the mp3? I hear you can get an intake by using a modified version of an intake for another car, but how much power does that really give?
I've also heard turbo kits are available, but that totally voids any warranty. http://protegemp3.com/ubb/frown.gif

shit i remember the original mazdamp3.com board when i got i checked it out. I think i was the only person on it that actually had an MP3. this starts to bring back memories though.

Me too freekwonder. Wasn't it the board off of protegetech that had a ProtegeMP3 section? Because I remember posting there that I was anxiously awaiting the delivery of my car :).

Hello everyone!
I am new to this forum just regitered 5 mins. ago found your link on a miata forum.
Well I just sold my turbo miata not to long ago and purchased an mp3, love the thing but I must say its a dog. I am intersted in getting a cast manifold for the car does any one no where I can get one? Any other mazda engines fit same manifold? I can easily get a custom tubular manifold made down here like the one i made for the miata but I want a log cast style manifold because of cracking. Theres a guy down here in miami I think thomas knight that does turbo probes and mx6 maybe I will pay him a visit. Does anyone know if the JDM mp3 (famalia) comes turbo and does there manifold fit our engines?
I also spoke to corksport and the told me that they will have a turbo manifold available sometime next year but I cant wait!
I already have pretty much everything to comprise the kit
enginemanegement (lINK)
injectors
bov HKS
intercooler HKS

so all I need is the manifold get the turbo and make intercooler piping.

Little did I know that you could make turbular manifolds out of cast:)

damn i cant remember how i found the board. i think i went on yahoo and typed in mazda mp3 and it came up with the site. i know it was free and sucked, but it was free. thats how i think antione and enry got toghether and started this one. oh the memories.

just for that I had to find my first post. it was made on 9-1-2001 at 10:59 am. a day after I joined (i joined on 8-31-2001 i was the sixth person to join this board :D ) it was a post about joining this board with the mazdamp3.com

This is so crazy...I only joined in February or something when I bought the MP3 used. I have no clue how I found the site. I love it though!!
