I was wandering if anyone could help me find the specs or send me the specs.

What I'm looking for is the Valve adjustment specs for a
1993 Mazda Protegé SOHC 1.8

I have had a really hard time finding this.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

The engine uses automatically adjusting hydraulic lash adjusters.

Thats why I can adjust them.
There starting to get load and I thought that I could adjust them.
I guess I check into other options.
Any suggestions?

You mean they're getting loud? There's nothing you can do other than try a few different brands of oil, and make sure it's always topped up. HLAs ARE NOT user servicable. You're best off just replacing them.
