mandrel or crushed ?

i just got my axle back replaced by mazda becuz of the craked 03.5 tip. i got the mazdaspeed muffler, it flows better and sounds much better, im real happy with it. ive ordered a 3 inch midpipe from essentialspeed (its been 3 months :().
now my question is.. what diamter and what kind of piping shall i get from the 3 inch midpipe to the mazdaspeed axle back, which i think is 2.36 inches if im not mistaken..
btw its gonna be without resonator.

I got the same question man, i got my 3in dp coming in on monday, but i'd tell ya to do 2.5in ... just cuz i'm saving up for the greddy SP2...

i think the filet analogy is a bit off.

it should be which would you rather have:

Polo ralph Lauren or Gap clothing.

One is much better and more expensive, but in the end they are still just clothes.

But exhaust IS NOT just exhaust. Mandrel bent exhaust flows better than crushed, which has constrictions and narrows at the crush points. Exhaust gases already don't like to flow around corners, so constricting them at that point too, doesn't make for good flow. There are even differences between WELL MADE exhaust systems. You can guy Greddy or APEXi exhaust, both well made stainless steel pieces with mandrel bends, but one might give you 2 more hp than the other. Exhaust is not just exhaust.

On the other hand, yes, a Gap shirt will perform just as well as a Polo shirt.
