What do people think of those cd disc changer?

Well my mazda 3 never did come with the 6-disc cd changer, but I would like to go with a JVC 12 disc changer. Have any of you guys have these put in your trunks before and how well do you think they work? (scratch)

My GF has one in her car and I have one in my Goldwing. We've never had a problem with either one and the one in my bike only skips if I hit a HUGE bump or a lot of medium-sized bumps in succession.

You might be further ahead just buying one of the 6-disc changers that somebody has removed from their car, though. I've seen a couple for sale.

are the part#'s for the 6 cd changer the same for 3 and 6? if so alot of people were experiencing overheating problems and cd's getting stuck. One guy had it happen and the techies sent it to mazda to get the cd's out and 3 months later ty sent them back decoded.

i got nothing in my place right now, but i really dont want a 6 disc changer. sry. i really wanted the 12 and i will get one i hope (boom02)

I have no idea if they use the same changer or not. I suppose I could go to MazdaUSA and check the part numbers but... well... so could you. :D

Yep CD changer is the same...trim pannel is the difrence in the 2
