how much do they cost to powdercoat pipes? can they chip off? also are they supposed to be powdercoated inside the pipes too? thanks (bike)
Yes, the powdercoat can chip, but thats pretty rare unless the pipes are rubbing against something else over time, powdercoating is MUCH stronger than paint. No, you do not have to powdercoat the inside.

You'll want to have the inside powder coated if you have a steel flange welded to a SS pipe. If you don't the area around the weld might begin to rust from the inside out.

what about no flange?

what about no flange?
No flange, no need to powder coat the inside. Stainless Steel, no need to powder coat at all except for appearance. Mild steel, must powder coat the outside at the very least and try not to get any deep scratches on them.
