"Just remember: Stock output was kept low to protect the transmission. Avoid clutch dumps and hard acceleration on broken pavement." - Sport Compact Car.

I'm sure the mazda engineers told them not to launch the car during testing because of the weak tranny.

Its the differential. if you dont want the revised LSD buy a quaife and do a clutch and/or flywheel and redline fluid at the same time. do a search for my lsd failure threads.

ugh... the quaife is EXPENSIVE. and I know how badly the revised diff sucks.

Jee wizz man, sucks to hear a new ka-bang, but since it turned out to be ok after all, maybe you should go back to school and learn how to comprise your sentences better.

You have over 50 grammer and punctuation errors in that above statement. You're so far from showing good literacy skills, you sound like you're a drop out.

Sorry to be a bitch, but please consider this true. Many people cannot understand and thus cannot respect people (especially 21+ year olds) that write as bad as you, even if the writing is for fun. And my comments are meant to help change that, for everyones sake.

Please try harder if you wish to retort.

Have a nice day.

What is wrong with a drop out. I'm a fucin drop out. I also make alot of money. Doesn't take a high school diploma or a college degree to make the loot.
Loot= money

Have a nice day...................oh yea I'm 28 and make excellent money..........

SpeedMcheen, your first scentence is not composed very well either. Furthermore, you need to use spell check.

grammer = grammar

...write as bad as you... = ... write as poorly as you...

This is not an english or writing forum so I will refrain from detracting to the true purpose of this thread for any longer.

You're right, about the word "grammar" that is. That was really stupid of me. Thanks for the correction.

did u see the engine bay pic in that article... the IC pipe are not PLASTIC.. damnitthe car in the article is a 2001 ES protege.
it's the car that Calloway prototyped their kit on.

when calloway was done with it, it came with hard pipes and an ECU tuned by calloway.
stock boost was 9.5 psi.
it had more power and tourque (although article says 173, since that's how much MSP got after Mazda de-tuned it).

i saw the car at SevenStock 2003.

i just wanted to rip out the ECU and run.
