I've just recently acquired a VF34 turbo so I'll be switching over to the Hiboost manifold and DP so the MSP turbo is up for sale. Included are the following :
Manifold
turbo
s-pipe
ECU ( flashed )
HKS SSQV BOV
The turbo has only 100 miles on it, as it was removed as soon as the car delivered and we installed a HKS GT2530. With this setup, all you need is a FMIC and you're all set. This will work on the P5 and MP3.

and I can get more if needed ! I'm asking $1700 shipped ! If you have any questions just ask away.

would you also be selling the stock air box, stock intake, stock intercooler piping and stock intercooler. I assume this came out of your MSP... If so what year is your MSP and when did you get it.

I'm wondering if, and I don't see any reason it would't, fit on any FS2.0L Protege. Is it just the front bumpers of the P5,MP3, and MSP that will take this turbo kit or is there some issue with the radiator being different on a DX,LX,ES and not being able to fit an intercooler? Also if you add the stock intercooler and piping, would that boost up the price?

I think he said you'd need a front mount because the stock intercooler and piping is made for a smaller radiator and thus wouldn't fit with the larger one in other proteges.
bump for a good deal.

MSP has a smaller (in width, but thicker) radiator. So, you will need a FMIC.
I have the stock piping and intercooler if you want to go that route, but you would need the MSP radiator in order to do that. Maybe convince someone with an ION FMIC to swap radiators with you and you'd be good to go!

thanks for the real good tips guys... i was also wondering... sorry for asking but im pretty new with the mazda scene. wouldn't the compresison of n/a cars be higher than turbo cars regardless if they were pretty much sibling cars... and if that is so, wouldn't it affect turbo performance...
btw, i have an 02 mp5 fyi.

Not sure exactly what you mean here. Any NA car vs. and Turbo car? Or just proteges?
The msp has the same static compression ratio of any other protege (p5, mp3, es, whatever)
Yes, compression ratio does effect performance, but compression and boost is a trade off. High compression allows minimal boost as that involves further compression of an already dense gas/liquid combo. Lower compression, on the other hand, allows an engine to take in more boost. Either one, too high boost or too high compression can lead to detonation.
Hope that helped.

In addition, if you want to use the MSP intercooler, you'll have to also get the AC condenser from the msp ( if you have ac ) since the one from the p5 and sedan runs is longer than the one on the MSP.
Thanks for the bump !

mp3moose... thanks for the info... that definitley cleared things up... i wasn't sure whether the mp3 and p5 had the same compresison ratio... so pretty much all i really need for adding this turbo in is the fmic. btw. is the fuel pump on the mp3 the same as a p5?
at this point i really am interested in adding a turbo into my p5 but have to be careful in not turning it into a money pit. since it would be a daily driver, i would rather have this and keep it somewhat oem. all i really need is a little extra kick.
