I am sorry to say that I am selling my MP3
It's been a great car, but I've decided to move on.
I live in Lafayette, CO
The only reason I am selling is the WRX I couldn't pass up.
I am asking $12,500 firm.
The car has 35,500 miles on it.
The car is in EXCELLENT condition.
The only minor problem is a little curb rash on the wheels.
The car is completly stock.

Consumer Rated Condition: Good
"Good" condition means that the vehicle is free of any major defects. The paint, body and interior have only minor (if any) blemishes, and there are no major mechanical problems. In states where rust is a problem, this should be very minimal, and a deduction should be made to correct it. The tires match and have substantial tread wear left. A clean title history is assumed. A "good" vehicle will need some reconditioning to be sold at retail; however major reconditioning should be deducted from the value. Most recent model cars owned by consumers fall into this category.
Private Party Value $10,055
Private Party value represents what you might expect to pay for a used car when purchasing from a private party. It may also represent the value you might expect to receive when selling your own used car to another private party.

^ except, in the case of the Protege MP3s (especially a yellow one), there is a very limited supply of them, under 500 and how many are still all stock? Anybody could go out and buy a Protege, but it is much harder -- and much more expensive to replicate -- a true MP3.
Having bought lots of things private party, never at full retail, I can honestly say that I'd gladly pay $12,500 for a stock MP3. It's one of the best handling, and looking, compact cars in the U.S. The hold up real well, are very high quality, and "worth" much more to me than a Civic or Corolla ... which we both know run maybe a grand or so less, but wouldn't have the MP3s stereo, looks, or performance.
Good luck man ... sorry to see ya go. I agree, you'll need to give others a sense of where you're at geographically. You can say "Colorado" or "Idaho" if you want to be more general :) Oh yeah, and pictures sell!

Sorry I was a little vauge before.
I am in Lafayette, Colorado. That is about 25 miles North of Denver.
I recently purchased a Subaru WRX for a steal. Hated to buy it before I sold this car but it was too good to pass up.
I will have pics tomorrow.

Wow ... I was right? I guess I had a 1:48 shot (well, 2:48, since I listed two states), but I got it right: Colorado! Bump for prophetic visions and a stock MP3 :) Looks like this makes 4 now: yours, mine, the turbo from Hawaii, and that other guys...
Good luck with the Subie!
