Oil Filter?

Has anyone found a bigger oil filter for the msp. I cant believe mazda would put that tiny thing on are cars.undefined

When I went to the autoparts store for the first time and found the filter I thought to myself... this little thing is pathetic. I thought it was for a motorcycle or weedeater or something.

its a clearance issue.

Can't be any smaller then the mobile 1 filter for it.

I noticed the puralator, Pure-One, and fram are all larger then the Mobile 1 M1-108 for the protege. I can't remeber how the factory one stacked up.

I have the K&N HP 1008. I never put it next to the OEM filter so I don't know if it's bigger.

The Mobil1 is by far the smallest, I think the PureONE is the same size.

The WRX filter fits and is larger in diameter. There are several members using it and I have seen it installed and it does fit.

Yeah i put the fram oil filter on its still tiny theres not a clearance issue really we could fit a bigger one on. what year of wrx oil filter will work? I still cant believe that they would run something that tiny on our cars. it cant be good
