1/4 time ???????

Has anyone ran or tested their car on the 1/4 mile yet? I've been hearing from MP3 owners that their MP3 have been running 17's and not mid 16's like how it was recorded by Mazda. So whats the deal? I plan on running my car in the spring, it's snowing in Wisconsin and the tracks are closed.
