Note to large trucks: Look before you back up...

As if the title didn't give it away but... I was turning onto Harrison off of 109th in back of a large white 90 F350 when all of a sudden, I see the reverse lights and the rumble of his disiel. Just as I lay on the horn and peel out going backwards, he hits me. Damage isn't too bad, just sucks, paint is all screwed up. The hood if fine though, thankfully. Still, means I need to either invest in getting my bumper repainted and/or replaced. Replaced is the opportune word, friends. Suggestions if I decide to drop some dough?

Thanks man. Yeah, they will definately pick up the bill. I'm going to get an estimate tomorrow at Stan Olson. See what they say. Hopefully the bumper will have to be replaced, not just repainted.

there are some things you could do on your own to make sure the bumper needs replacing...

Yeah, looking like it will cost 700 or so. Figure I can get a new bumper (inquired at CorkSport about the Field Break Bumper), paint it and a little left over for springs? Yeah, I know, I'm dreamin'. Wouldn't that be nice though?

Yeah, looking like it will cost 700 or so. Figure I can get a new bumper (inquired at CorkSport about the Field Break Bumper), paint it and a little left over for springs? Yeah, I know, I'm dreamin'. Wouldn't that be nice though?

They are selling the Field Break bumper for 995 it seems. Damn expensive. I don't know if I can swing that. Also, not sure if it will look right without the skirts which are nowhere to be found online. Maybe I'll just get the bumper painted and then get some springs. After the paint job, I should have like 250 to 300 left I think. Eibachs would be nice. Or maybe get a CF wing like Mark has (see, got your name right this time).
