So add me to the list of people with oily turbos. I just noticed this last night. So is this a leak that can be fixed or will they most likely replace my entire turbo? Does anyone know the exact cause of this? It seems to have happened to several members. My turbo isn't making any strange noise and I can't smell any burning oil. Guess it's only leaking enough to leave that spotty, oil crust on it. Stupid Turbo, I hate you.

is your turbo leaking oil into your IC pipes and intake? or onto the floor? my turbo blows oil into my IC piping and the inlet pipe of my turbo..

It seems to just have an oily crust on the outside of the turbo. Haven't checked the IC piping or intakes...have limited tools and they are militant about people "working" on cars in the parking lot.

Is you PCV valve good? Do you still have the hose from the valve cover going to the inlet tube?

Chcked again to discover that my turbo has in fact been blowing oil up into my IC piping. It could be that the turbo isn't leaking, but just blowing oil into the pipe which then drips down. Either way it sucks....WTF? How bad is this crap?

Is that where the is coming from or where you can see it?

Is that where the is coming from or where you can see it?There is def oil coming out of the crack where IC pipe meets turbo, but I can't tell if it is the only source, as the whole turbo has a light oily crust and shine. I am taking it in tomorrow, I just hope my whole turbo doesn't need to be replaced.

Take the breather off and run the hose from the valve cover to the front of the turbo. Or back like when it was stock.
Thanks again

never had a lil nipple connector for my turbo pipe.. i'm all aftermarket, so there's no way of me running a hose from the valve cover to the front of the turbo or stock... any other way of fixing this problem?

Get a brass fitting from a parts store. Drill and tap your tube from somewhere behind the maf. 3/8ths barb by 1/8th" pipe thread will work fine. Then run a hose from the new barb fitting to your valve cover.

My oil feed line was loose. So add that to the list of things you need to regularly check along with your own sanity. Well I gotta' go tighten my manifold bolts again, later.
