talk to MPNick/iON Performance about reworking the stock turbo w/ a disco wheel and ported compressor housing. it may be sufficient for your goals.

Dinospeed is running 21psi with his hybrid t25r.

JONBOY688 (http://www.msprotege.com/forum/member.php?u=9418) - if you're going to keep the stock compression ratio, go w/ the GT28RS or a variant.

personally if i was going to run a ihi vf turbo on my msp i would go with the vf34 i had both a vf22 and a vf 34 on my subaru and well the vf34 instant response was more fun then the relatiive lag of the vf22. i had a 2.2 low compresion motor and the vf34 at 15psi was a ton of fun and spooled up very fast.

the gt28rs is a leap ahead in turbo wheel technology though so i would go with that over any ihi vf series turbo. but what kind of car are you trying to build?

I would stick with the stock MSP mani and go with the GT28RS.The stock mani will support more HP than HiBoost manifold.

not to mention being cheaper overall

then you can afford the MPI tuner to help tune the larger volume of air you'll get at the same pressure

comeone people. There is nothing special about the disco potato. you can get a decent turbo for way less.

sure, a reworked GT25 would work too.... its just that the GT28rs is readily available, and is a good optionm unless you want more than 350 hp
