Hey guys,
Yesterday I was minding my own business out on a drive and I was hit by a complete idiot without a drivers license, insurance, or registration. I was in the right lane and he was in the center, and he decided to turn into a restaurant running into the front of my car. Needless to say, he received fur citations and the car was impounded. My insurance company says that I have to pay the $500 deductible because he doesn't have insurance. However, if he had insurance, I wouldn't have to pay. Does this seem wrong to anyone besides me? All I can say is, THIS IS FU!#@D UP!!!

Read your insurance policy too. Many people just either go along with the insurance company says or go ballistic when the terms and conditions stated everything to begin with.

The funny things is he doesn't even speak english. The cops had to take his fingerprints and a photo because he didn't even know where he lived. What the hell is that. Finally got an address out of him. It is a good thing that the bra on the front was brand new and put on yesterday and the tires were rotated and car cleaned. Oh yeah, did I also forget to mention that I am moving in 2 weeks accross the country.

blynzoo's right. sue for the deductible. if he says he has no money to pay, ask the court to make him give you his car, cause it's not like he needs to be driving it with NO insurance, license, or registration. you can probably sell it to junkyard to recover your deductible.

SUE him/her, some guy did that to me with my honda, i sued him and got about 1000 for the damage, it was only wirth 400, but i said he did alot more shit and it fell through..

Dude, same thing happened to me when a drunk driver smashed into my Bimmer. I had to pay for the deduct. because it was a claim on my insurance. It turned out that his car was insured and I got my deduct. back. Check the police report, it should have his address and everything on it. Wait a few weeks, then start doing $500.00 worth of damage to his shit!

I hate people driving around without insurance and espeically those who use their foreign language problem as a defence when they cause trouble to others.

go to small claims and try to get the whole value of the damage. if that doesn't work like the others said got the deductable. is it too much to ask for that people in this country actually speak english (hand) ?????
