redline MT90 should be good for your car, MSP requres 75w90 because of the LSD.

redline mt-90 is listed as a 75w90

mt90 is lighter weight then the 75w90. One is GL4 the other is GL5.

Red Line MT-90 is an SAE grade 75W-90 gear oil. The GL-4 or GL-5 rating has nothing to do with viscosity. According to the FSM, the MP3, P5 and sedans with M/T should use 75W-90 oil.

Mazda clearly states in the FSM that either API service GL-4 or GL-5 can be used in the M/T, so the differential properties of either service classification are irrelevant for our cars. It further states that for all-season use, SAE grade 75W-90 is the correct gear box oil.

Case closed.
