do u guys think we need to worry about the p5 becoming the car of choice for ricers?? ive seen alot of p5's on the internet that are riced out, but hopefully they arent in the majority and destroy the precious character of the p5

There simply arean't enough number of P5 to be seen too frequently at all.
The ricer P5 you are talking about won't matter much. They will never beat the ricer Civics.

Are there really riced out p5's? Haven't really seen a p5 here in these boards that are riced out. I think the board members here know better than to stick stickers of companies they really don't own. Hell's I'm having trouble deciding if I should add HKS emblems to my P5 since I have the HKS Hi-Power Exhaust, I'm leaning not too, but I like emblems though. You think adding emblems to a car is riced?

I guess you haven't heard about Montreal. We have so many P5's that Civics seem to have never existed.

na, do what you want. Ive seen a hand full of riced out 5's. But dont fret, the tacky items arnt as readily available as honda items. Plus parts for the 5 are expensive compared to popular rice vehicles. Can you get parts for the 5 at autozone? I think not.

Why mods are limited and the car has no power anyway.

what do you guys concider ricy?
because personally i think my car is cool but i'll have the odd guy ask me why i riced it up. but whats ricy, the big exhaust, the flashing lights? the loud engine, the big rims, and low suspension? or the 5000$ stereo systems, that sound better than any average car. besides the flashy lights i think it looks pretty fierce to me. and if my car is concidered as a rice rocket, then shit i love this rice rocket!!!!!!!! Why care if it's not your car? Because it's a shame to see perfectly good cars ruined because their owners have no taste (headshake

I saw a toyota echo the other day with a 4" exhaust tip welded on to the factory pipe...which is like 1". In my opinion, that's pretty much the definition of rice.

i've always assumed riced up cars are the ones that run NOS and have the panels of stickers and everything is just done with no taste at all.

as p5 carrying dealers need to get them off the lots and such the price is lowered and some 'ricers' are benefitting from that aspect..

I was called "rice boy" by a hillbilly in a late '80's v6 Camaro, so it must be true. Although my car exhibits none of the typical "riced-out" symptoms.

with any car make an model you will have rice and its people spending as lil money as possible to "mod" thier car. Buying ebay parts and anything that sorta matches you car like thoser seat covers up above. Most people that are into cars have more respect for power then show and sounds unless your hitting 160 dbs but most people systems are just annoying and the main reason the cops come out all the time...

i don't know why people have to call it ricy for its not your car if the people who modify it do it in their particular taste in modifications, who are we to judge, the whole fun in souping up a car is making it our own........right? (boom07)

face it, technically we are all ricers. p5 = japanese car = rice burner

the term ricer is so loosly defined. the closest thing i can compare it to is tacky.
a riced out car = a tacky car

see but its done right. to his taste. its not some cheap shit he threw on there from autozone or a "phat oval can" from napa. Thats how i see it or modding something like a caviler or camary.

lets take a look at it this way.... people always refer to most hondas as "ricer" cars, but goddammit if there arent a million companies making a billion aftermarket parts for those "ricer cars"... maybe what the P5 community needs is for the industry to recognize the P5 as a "ricer car".. that way more peeps will want it, and therefore more parts will be made for it. i dont know about yous guys and gals, but i couldnt give a rats ass if a million peeps have a P5, thats all the better.. more competition!!!!

Well then in this case, I perfer a rice car any day over any "potato car" (domestic).

The P5 isnt a ricer car. I've only seen a handfull of pictures of ugly, tasteless, tacky P5's. Ex. putting an aluminum wing on top of existing spoiler.

There is so many P5's that arent even modded, let alone riced out. When I am driving around and see a bunch of P5's, I hardly ever see one with any mods. I have never seen a riced out P5 either. (Except pictures)

i have a another car a 740i bmw, i love the p5 better because it has soo much more character, ne body wit the cash can just get a sick fast car and thats it, the reason why i have my p5 is because i made it my own style, no other p5 has wat it does. when it comes to racing and all that shit dats wen i bust out the beemer, that and work.
