I got the thing on but I have what I guess everyone has been calling the TURKEY. Its really bad. How do I tell the difference between the turkey and a boost leak?

If your car is not holding boost and losing power you may have a boost leak. If you have a loud turkey, then that usually goes along with decent boost pressure...as when I had a boost leak, I had less turkey. Embrace the turkey and don't waste your time trying to get rid of it. Enjoy scaring and confusing the elderly with it, along with everybody else.

The mag article I have dynoed the car after every mod was installed obviously in order of the installs, one part then back on the dyno, another part, back on the dyno etc.

heh i have that article on my wall. yeah that's a bit pricey for a SMIC because the shop i go to said find him a core (which you can pick up on ebay or anywhere) and he'll install it run the pipes and create custome mandrel bent hardpipes for 250, shit he'll even do a downpipe and exhaust including all installation mandrel bends flexpipe CEL eliominator and all flanges for 500 plus muffler
