Here is the Mazdaspeed 6 will there be a speed 3?

This is odd. I found this through a buddy of mine. They're using the Mazda MZR 2.3 and twin scroll turboed/intercooled it w/ AWD. Does this mean they won't do a speed 3? Did anyone else see this?

there is a speed 3...chances of it being relaesed the same time is slim to nill...they would compeat against each other since they are the same engine platform.

It won't be the first awd mazda tho, there were a few 1g's that had it, not sure in what market though. Isn't there a mazdaspeed axela in japan, I seem to remember something about that. . .

I really doubt they would put the exact same specs in a MS3 as the MS6 expect 240bhp at most but more like 220bhp in the ms3

In any case this is exciting news! Mazda is really turning up the notch which in the big picture is really going to make a difference and that difference will be seen with more aftermarket support...more brand exposure...more appeal...just more good stuff!

Just hope the prices stay reasonable...

yes it's good and bad...sometimes the factory turboed croud will alienate the n/a counterparts and aftermarket my make products custom tailored to the turbed version and start to overlook the n/a. Hopefully it doesn't happen and we all just get along haveing fun modding our vehicles and not let it get too caught up in lose lose pissing contests...

Well the MS6 is twin turbo, so the MS3 will probably just be 1 turbo like the MSP but it should be pushing 220hp or so I would think.

it would be interesting to see them come out with an MS3 and MS6 at the same time. I think it would spark a lot of interest and not hurt them as long as they keep the lines diverse...

Around 200hp FWD for the 3 and at least 250hp AWD for the 6 would do it :D
