I just ordered the coil-on-plug conversion kit and I was wandering how big of a pain in the but they might be to put on? And I hope I didn't screw up. Because I didn't think about the bracket for the coil. Does anyone know if the Hiboost Piping will interfere with it?

did you tell them you needed it for the mazdaspeed? cuz if not, they will give you an NA kit which will not fit.

That just sounds plain silly. Are you trying to tel me that there is a difference between the spark plug wires on the na than on our turbo. It's the same motor. I hope your wrong for my sake.
msp's need a special mounting bracket, thats why there are different from n/a, the n/a applications dont come with it. there is no difference in wires, but just where it is mounted in the motor. the turbo applications are mounted behind the engine cover on the left. the n/a applications are in the front, above the header on the right.
hope u told them msp though

I think I have heard something about that to. I think TheJohnny and some one else were the only ones to have them for a while for that reason. Why they had to make ones for the MSP I dont know since I have the magnecore wires and they work fine

I just got mine and even though the MSP kit was ordered they still didn't send me the bracket. Chris from SPD Racing got it sent out to me and all is good. But, I've decided to hold off on the install so I can install them like the NA application.
Once I put on my Ion FMIC there will no longer be a conflict between the stock Turbo to IC pipe and the bracket placement.
You might find there is none with the HiBoost. I can't tell ya w/out looking though.

My bad it was 5 in the morning and I had been up with my son. I have been looking at some pictures of the install at nology.com and I don't really see why they wouldn't mount in the same place. Nothing looks to be in the way and the bolt holes for the mounting bracket to the motor look the same. Shoot if the do send me the NA wires I might just try to see if they will work anyway.

The only thing that gets in the way is the stock turbo to IC pipe. However, since that is replaced with your FMIC, you should have no problems. Let me know if you need anything.

Well the company I ordered them through called me yesterday and said that they were a special order item and that it would take a couple of weeks for them to get it. So I just went ahead and canceled the order. I could probably spend the money better elsewhere.

If you do decide to get a set down the road give Chris @ SPD racing a call.
They did the prototype on my car. I had stock IC pipes at the time of the fitment. The bracket they they used for the P5 / MP3 will fit. But it is to close to the IC pipe for comfort. Running higher boost it will most definitly rub agaisnt the coil bracket under boost due to the expansion / flex of the IC pipes.
They decided that it would be better (and I agreed) if they placed the coils back where the cruise control unit was on the P5. As no MSP's have cruise control it was a perfect location. I like the positioning of it much better as it is out of the way compared to where the P5 / MP3 have the coils located.
You can see pictures of my install here

Dude, what is your disfunction? A quick 2 minutes of research would of resulted in an answer to your question.
If you do decide to get a set down the road give Chris @ SPD racing a call.
I talk with nology all the time the wires are in stock and ready to go chris @ SPD
Now, one could infer that you could call chris @ SPD racing to get pricing information. But if you are a little kid that is afraid to talk on the phone to an adult. You could then use the wonder that is Google
Results 1 - 17 of about 56 for Mazdaspeed Protege (http://www.google.com/url?sa=X&oi=dict&q=http://dictionary.reference.com/search%3Fq%3Dprotege%26r%3D67) Nology Hotwires. (0.24 seconds)
Now that your mind was fatigued by this great effort, you decide to post on the boards. The tone you convey is less than favorable:
Price and place please.
dosen't due to much good for us guys that don't know what it costs and were to get it.
It doesn't due you much good to post here acting like that, all you will are responses like these.
Clearly it is our responsibility to anticipate your request and post prices, pictures, where to order, credit card information, shipping costs to your zip code, and tracking number.
Next time you decide to pipe up in a thread, do so in a respectfull manner. We are here to help you as long as you aren't an asshat about it:

Not to easy and not to harsh. But just right tbl. When they did call me I told them I had the MSP and asked them if it would fit. The guy on the other end put me on hold and called nology (supposedly). He then told me that he talked to them and that they said they didn't think they would work but that there weren't sure. But I had already made up my mind about them. He most have been blowing smoke up my butt. I may give you a call or email sometime soon about them Chris. Thanks

www.racerelement.com (http://www.racerelement.com) . Was who I ordered it through. They called me to tell me about the delay in shipping it and that was when I asked them about whether or not it would work on the MSP. He did have me on hold for several minutes. Apperantly they did not want my money very badly.
