Stock Racing Beat Muffler Cracking... Anyone else?

My stock RacingBeat muffler is cracking at the tip right were the polished metal meets the non polished metal inside the tip. Has any one else had this problem? The dealer is probably going to change it to an aftermarket MazdaSpeed exhaust. What do you people think? Apperantly this one will be a tad louder than the RacingBeat. Do you think there will be performance advantages with this muffler compared to the Racing beat if I get only a D/P and/or become catless?

This one is not mine. The cracks are similar but worse on mine.

there is a post similar to this one...i cant recall where it is but, others are having their muffler replaced with the 03 mufflers...ill search and place the link here....mine is also crackin somewhat.

My 03.5 muffler is doing the same thing exactly in the same spot.

Mine is crack.... don t care , waiting for the APEX one ;)
