I am going to buy the Greedy turbo timer and I was wondering If I should get the universal harness with that? Is that what everyone else gets when they buy a turbo timer?
Matt
EDIT : Started to do a search but It was taking too long.

what the heck are u talking about!?!?!?!
PLUG IN???
no way!
dont spend your money on the universal harness.
u will still have to splice into wires.
noone makes a harness for our cars.....NOONE

I dont know I have never bought a harness for a turbo timer but from what I heard you dont have to splice into any wires with a harness

universal harness is basically an extention of the wires attached to the TT.
u can unplug the actual TT brain while u're installing (splicing) the harness.
then u plug the brain into the harness.
it doesnt make any difference though.
i bought a blitz universal harness when i got my blitz TT.
didnt help much.
it just made it easier to take the TT out of my flipped car ;)

wiring harnesses are only for SPECIFIC make/model cars. i tried seeing if the RX-7 harness is similar plugs but no such luck. i haven't seen the ones made for BP's but i doubt it as well. kinda screwed up that i could've sworn i seen a listing for MPV's and they don't make one for the BJ's? that's f'd up, LOL. they do have universal ones but like someone else said you still have to splice them in to your existing ones. your only option is to hardwire it in.
saying it again, a company should really make one specific to our cars. it's a simple to think of but still one-off product that NO ONE has made yet.
