I believe 6 on the cars with the 2.3L engine and 4 in the cars with the 2.0L engine.

the 3i comes with 4 speakers and the 3s come with 4 speakers with 2 tweeters.

hehehehehehe...tweeters are actually very small speakers, usually only like 1.5-2 inches in size, and focus on the higher frequency/pitches of sound. Like symbols, and even snares. ETC

sorry .. but I couldn't help myself..

anyway.. tweeters are usually those small speakers (about an inch and a bit or so in diameter) that reproduce the high frequency sounds - the high pitched stuff...
