Unfortunitly I haven't measured the trunk on one yet. Just take a tape measure to the dealership when you look at them, that should confuse them. You should have seen the salesmens face when I took out the kick panels of the P5 when I was looking at it :D
I'd ask it in the general M3 area so that anyone with a 3 might be more likely to see it.

I just saw a thread about a Mazda 3 owner selling his sub box that was over 40" wide. It was a sedan but you should be all set.
