I am planning on moving to Sacramento soon and I need to get rid of some things. Anybody in the San Diego area interested in...

(1) Surf Board. 6'6" or so ( I don't know the exact size). It is used but in good shape.

(1) Body board. Used for one season.

(1) Universal soft surf board rack. Can mount to any car. It is basically nylon straps with a foam tube on each strap. It tightens to the roof of your car and then you tighten the board to it. Used only one season.

I also have an old (edited: Yakima to Thule) Thule roof rack. It fit on my 86 Celica but it will not fit the P5. It has 2 snowboard clips.

I will sell for cheap, but I don't really want to ship. I would also consider trading something for a set of MSP rear endlinks if they are in good shape.

Let me know...

I would ship it, but I am afraid that it might not be worth it to you. I am not a surfer, it was my old roommates board. He moved out and left if at my place, and it has been sitting in my garage for 3 years. It is in good shape, but I honestly have no idea what it is worth. I am thinking about selling it for like $50. I can take some pics if you are actually interested. I have no idea what it costs to ship a surf board.

Thanks, I'll let you know... What I will really want is some folks to go driving with. My best friend lives up there and can't wait for me to get there so we can go terrorrize the curvies...

I'm interested in the body board. You'll be passing by where I live. I'm in Gilroy, and will meet you on highway (5) or (101). Let me know the price of the body board. I'll be moving to Maui in about 1.5 years. We where just there and I broke my daughters board. We where hittin hit at Big Mekana on Southwest Maui. But, her board snapped in half. Damn, those where some sweet waves.
Let me know, please provide as much details as possible and how much.
Thanks

Here are some pics.
The surf board is 6'6" according to some markings on the board. It is in good shape.

The soft rack is pictured too.

About the body board, I don't think it would be worth it to ship it to Gilroy. It was only like $35 new. It is a foam body board, actually every body board I have ever seen was foam. I don't know how it would crack, but good job! The main reason that I didn't want to ship it was because I don't want anybody to feel ripped off. Not that it is in bad shape or anything, but by the time you pay for shipping, you could have bought a new one. I will not be driving by Gilroy, I take I-5 up north. If you are still interested, I will most definately sell it to you, but I just don't want you to pay more in shipping than the thing is worth.

Let me know if any of you are interested.

You are right, you asked first. I was just trying to not make you pay for shipping, but if you really don't care, then I think you get first dibs. Then Senor, the Digital...

Digital would be the easiest for me since he lives pretty close and offerd to drive, but Midnight has first dibs. I will try to see what shipping costs. Tell me if you are still interested.

It looks pretty pricey to ship the board. I just looked online, not at a UPS store or anything, maybe they can help me out, but using the following info:

shipped from San Diego 92117
to you at 21737
weight 10lbs
length 84 inches
width 20 inches
height 5 inches

it will cost $125 + the cost to package it (bubble wrap or whatever they use to ship a surf board). I insured it for $150, but it didn't change much when uninsured. So it would cost close to $200 for the board plus to ship to 21737. If you are interested still I will do it, but you can probably find one locally for cheaper.

Let me know.

I don't know, $20?? I don't expect to actually go through with the move until early September, but I am going to be driving a U-Haul + a trailer with the 5 on it, plus my fiancee in another car... I don't know if meeting up is going to work. I bought the board last year for $35, is it worth it to you go drive from Gilroy to I-5 and back to save $15 on a $35 board? That's a couple of hours by the time you are done...
