After being scepticle about the new Mazda, My wife and I bought a 2004 5 door . I like it more than my 2002 Acura RSX and will probably trade my Acura in for another 5 door for myself.

yeah... its funny. before i got my protege5, i was looking at rsx's. type s, and base models. i got curious and started calling about insurance rates. an actual integra was going to cost me almost $100 more a month compared to an rsx. and let me tell you why. in tucson, theres about.... 235367763456938128990 integra's. lol.

Dont get me wrong, I love my RSX, but if I can get a three for what I bought the ball and chains 3 for I couldnt pass it up! I bought her 04 3 5door for 16000 even@3.9 =305.95 a month. oh yea the saleman told me it had a 6 disk changer which I found out after getting home that it did not. Sooooo, I went back complained asked for one to be put in and they settled by giving me 150 bucks. total for mazda 15850.

Yup, and that's exactly why they insure so high. Huge targets for theft because they are so common.

Out here it's either the Integra or the Civic that is the most stolen vehicle. I know very few peple with Teg's or Civics that haven't had there car stolen at least once.
