Well I broke down and ordered it. I have all the supporting mods(2.5 catless midpipe, greddy sp2 catback, ion fmic, and injen cai). I will be getting the car dynoed at stock boost and with the upped boost. I'm hoping for 230 at the wheels with the upped boost. I'll let everyone know how it goes.

Should be near those numbers imo. Just depends on your boost levels. Have you had it dyno'd with the mods listed above?

yeh i would get a baseline dyno with the mods above before the unichip...we have no unichip dyno charts besides the one corksport is pushin.....if u can fund it we would all paperciate it :)

I plan to dyno mine the day before I do mine (should be next month) with stock intercooler. Should give some decent comparisons of what unichip can do with a slightly mod'd car.... seems most people doing unichip have FMIC tho.

Can't be a sleeper with the FMIC gangsta grin

i plan to get one this fall....with my autox i havent confirmed if a upgraded smic is even allows...and im only gonna have a catback as my other mods...maybe some hardpipes but i think the unichip is gonna go in on a relatively stock car :) my msp baselined 166whp completely stock on a dynojet so if i can get 180 without the bc option i will be happy for my autox'in...then i can just flip a switch :)

If it rains anymore days this week so I can get off work i'll go get it dynoed how it sits right now. Then i'll go back once unichip is installed and find out what it puts down.

I dynoed 153 whp with just an injen cai. That was on a mustang dyno though ( I think dynojets tend to be a little higher). I'll be going to a dynojet from now on though.

yeh its good to stick with one when comparing...3 other msps that dynoed with me the same day on the same dyno hit 160-166 along with me...good luck.....cant wait to see the results

Damn, 166whp stock? Those are some high numbers you lucky bastards.

Amazing how much stock WHP dynos read on these cars, I have seen everywhere from the low 140s to now the mid 160s. But I think most people average around low 150s.

Did they send you custom maps, or are you just running the two maps that come with the chip?

Good question. And if you could, please try to get air/fuel with your unichip dyno, I'm quite interested to see it on a modded car.

I haven't got it yet, but i'm just gonna run the maps it comes with for now. It is already mapped for a CAI and exhaust, the only other thing I have is a fmic. So for now i'll just see how it is, then maybe send it back and have it remapped.

Man have them send it right the first time!!!

Man have them send it right the first time!!!Agreed, why not have it tuned out of the box. I already have all the basic bolt-ons like you but if I was going to order this part I'd get all the bolt ons first then add the unichip last ~ tuned for the parts properly.

With the mods you have now you should dyno around 225 at 10lbs. I scared to think what you will have with the unichip. Can't wait to see some numbers

BTW good to meet you the other day(2thumbs)

When I ordered it I told them all my mods. So they should map it for all my mods. We'll see.

I doubt it, you should have definitely made it clear you wanted different maps. I am sure they will send you the same maps they send everyone else. Then you will have to pay them more $$$ to have it re-mapped...

i think it would be best to get the car tuned by a independent unichip tuner on their dyno with ur car and ur mods in ur area...its easier and best tune possible

The Unichip is a big improvement over the stock ECU so you will be happy regardless. Also, with the Unichip you would have piece of mine that the ECU won't go crazy and lean the a/f ratio for whatever reason. And like many people already said, it feels a lot faster at 10 psi w/ the Unichip than with out it. I never increased boost over stock before the Unichip so I don't know. And you have the option of running a more aggressive Map for when you go to the track. I have ran the Unichip at stock boost and honestly it does not feel any faster, but it does feel smoother.

I can't wait to see the dyno runs before and after with stock boost. That is if anyone is going to make a before and after with stock boost runs. Sure it makes the car smoother, but for that much money it should do something even at stock levels. But I guess if your going the route of adding this then your not going to be running stock boost, and all the serious gains come from higher boost levels. So I guess, in the long run, this is a great investment. Great, just something else I have to save up for and buy.
