I love the Rx8 seats, does anyone have this done? Would they just bolt in or custom brackets? just wondering...

minus having the rotary symbol in the headrest of a piston driven car would look nice

I'd rather have a n/a 240 hp car than a turbo 240hp car. Spend another $5k and u'll really be zooming. If you've got the $30k then getting another 5k in a year or so shouldn't be a problem.

S2000's are fun to drive....

but torque wise...thats a different story. i'd rather have a turboed rotary than a turboed i4. although the pricing is over the edge for the seats, its better because it wont be played out...alot of nice shit are now being played out

Sorry.... living in southern california I'm sickened by the amount of 2 seater n/a sports cars. Tough guy has the 2 seater.... tough guy has the money for the 2 seater.... tough guy thinks he's now in a ferrari.

and to whoever said the "id rather have a n/a 240hp" keep in mind those magazine quotes are at redline in 4th gear. You'll see that 240 hp a few seconds later in an n/a than you would in the turbo 240hp. take a 290hp random n/a car vs 255hp 3rd gen rx7. on a highway driving 3 miles at a time the random car would obliterate the 3rd gen. But from a stop or slight roll completely different story.

perfect example different class would be our car vs rsx type r. They have us by 15+ hp.... not very appealing 15hp imo

i dont wanna start a turbo n/a argument as there are plenty of non turbo'd cars who would stomp the shit out of the turbo'd ones in their class.... but this 2 seater mid-life-crisis class is not really one of them.

i dont get what you're saying, an rx7 isn't a 2 seater...but your mx-5 is

an rx7 fits 2

my general comment at the beginning was simply a joke at blowing your money on an s2000 would go hand in hand with blowing your money on overpriced seats for them if needed.

(hand) i meant rx8 and thought you were referring to it, not s2000. sorry

rx8 is in the general neighborhood.... same price class but at least it has its own identity. It's a reliable rotary engine which is pretty damn remarkable given its history

i dunno... i just cant see the appeal of an s2000 on any level.. it's a honda. Nothing more, nothing less.

Wow, this got pretty off topic, but whatever i think it died with the price of the rx8 seats...ritalin for all the kiddies
