I already have some things that need to get fixed at the dealer, but I just haven't had the time to go in yet. Anyway, I've noticed these 2 things in just the past couple weeks & I didn't see anything about them in the search...

1. Sometimes when I put the clutch in at a stop light, it doesn't feel completely smooth. I don't know how to describe it other than saying I feel little bumps as I push it down. I changed to Redline MT-90 about a month ago, but this just started. I'm going to install the SS clutch line & hopefully bleeding it then will solve this problem.

2. This one totally confuses me. I think it has something to do with the tires because I've heard this before on some of my previous cars. Basically, if I get up to about 85 or 90, I start to hear a small whistling sound from the area near the front right tire. It has nothing to do with acceleration because I'm usually not accelerating to that speed really fast. I tried going 100 once last week & it made the sound even worse, but as soon as I slow down, it goes away. I managed to record a video of it just so that I could get the sound.

Please, let me know what you think about these 2 issues my car is having.

I believe the service techs are even aware of that noise coming from the windshield area. I just can't tell from the video if it's the same sound. Your sound seems higher pitched.

It really sounded like it was coming from a point on the car lower than the windshield area (which is why I thought it was the right front tire or something).

Anyway, I'm going to check my tire pressure for now & just hope that it's nothing. I'm not lowered & I don't have anything done that would affect the tires unless they just become noisy as they wear.

my car has the same sound when I go over 80MPH. from what i hear, it's lower than the windshield too but I can't take the car in, no warranty.

Maybe get a friend to ride shotgun and see if they can locate it w/o you influencing them. Just tell them there is a sound and you are trying to locate it. That would be a very odd sound if it was coming from the tire only at high speeds. But you have heard it in person so you have a big advantage over my guess based on a short clip.

If you run a search on windshield noise at higher speeds you will find a ton of results. See if your experience matches up with that at all.

.. Sounds like your holdin' a mosquito hostage or somethin'.

Definitely never heard anything like that in mine -- and I haven't the slightest idea what it could be. But to my ears, it doesn't sound like it has anything to do with the tires -- the pitch doesn't sound right. Good luck gettin' whatever it is fixed, though!

Definately the windshield whistling. you can take it to the dealer put they'd have to speed to hear it. catch 22.
