Anyone else change Injen filters?

I changed to a K&N about 2 months ago. Some friends pointed out that my turkey wasnt as loud as it normally was, im assumming its the filter.

Anyone else notice this?

There has been a diff in performance that is noticible. I would attribute it to the fact that the old filter was a little dirty,this one is much longer and it also has the top opening the other did not.
