Firstly let me say that I went to Unichip's website today and from what I have read it seems to be really great (even though the MSP wasn't listed there). Anyway, I just wanted to know if the programming of the Unichip module is designed for flashed or unlashed MSPs...or does it affect both indentially? Thanks.

I would do a search this has been asnwered probally a few times this week.

Yes its for both flashed and unflashed ECU...it should be no problem. Its pre-tuned. My only concern is we are not all running the same mods so I have to find someone to tune unichip if I get it. And for that price a AEM standalone might be better.

Cool, thanks a lot. I saw the similar threads below too and that helped. Seems great to me.

it will run on both with no ill affects. they didn't adjust the timing in the rpm band that the flash added some advancement. so you'll be running your regular timing curve at around 4K.

i think everyone should have their chip tuned specificly for your EXACT car afer purchasing anyways. then your can talk with your tuner about your goals and they can adjust your timing if needed in that section.
