My wife needs a new car and we are considering the Mazda3 sedan. I really can't think of anything in its class or price range that's a better bargin. Anythign else that we should consider? Also, how does the auto tranny work out? She refuses to drive stick and the auto seems sluggish to me. We may also consider a Mazda6 since they have a $1500 rebate and work out to be similiar in price when comparing 4cyl models with similiar options.

Sorry. I love mine. The handling is bar none the best. The interior is AWESOME in my opinion. The is a brake dust issue on the rears but no biggy. The only way the could improve on the car is AWD and 240 hp. If you drove one, I mean really drove one, then you know how awesome the car drives. Some ppl have had bad airbag sensor problems but these are warrenteed and the dealer replaces them. I have the auto and I rarely use the auto mode I usually use the manual mode. It takes some getting use to but it's alot of fun. Good compromise I'd say...
There are numerous testimony's to the car just look on the forum
