Production number

I noticed everybody posts their vehicles production number in their profile. How do I find out my production number. Is it within the VIN or when I open my driver side front door. Does that number mean out of the total number of Mazdaspeeds or just that color? Does anyone know how many of each color were made? And how many total Mazdaspeeds were made from both 2003 and 2003.5? Any feedback would be much appreciated.

You have to call MNAO and ask them for it. Mazda claims they dont keep track of production numbers, though, so i dont know where the hell they get the number then, when you call them. So either the guy on the phone just made it up on the spot or they do keep track of it.

Thanks. I called and was quoted 380 of 2750. I assume this is of the 2003.5 run.

Thanks to the phone number provided i called and found out that my 2003.5 mazdaspeed is 401 out of 2750 (typo my bad)

im not sure if these are the numbers you guys are refering too but it says they are the production numbers and they go by the vin so click the link and look at the bottom of the page to click the link that will download a PDF file with the number listings, just look your vin up and there ya have it..mine is number 29 P.S sorry if this is a repost..

i called that number today! the person said that they have no way of telling me how many were made in the color i have. she said all they can look up is how many of those models were made that year. so i guess im number 2395 of 4500. is there any way to see how many that were made in my color?
