Tough call. Blue and orange don't really "go" in my book but everybody's taste is different. Maybe get a silver and paint it to match the car?
More importantly, who are the hotties in your avatar? (wow)
yep aem intake looks nice in blue..I got same color too. where are your 2.3 badges?

do you guys think a blue one would look good on the orange car?Blue and Orange are complimentary colors but honestly I would say go with the polished. It would look good with anything.

I would say go with silver instead of polished. The polished has to be constantly re-polished and that's a pain in the ass.

I think that the complimentary colors are too flashy when it comes to car color schemes. Well, they can work if you do it right. You have to have a perfect balance & consistancy or it just doen't work in my book. I use alot of complimentary colors for the club flyers that I design but they call for flashy attention grabbing colors with big bold words. Still in that case if I don't use balance & consistancy correctly, it just won't work. I think that you should just go with a high contrasting color or something suttle like the polished. Just my opinion. I 'm sure that you will make the right choice because after all, its your taste.
painted intakes are a slight plus over polished cause painted is painted with thermal paint to keep interior of intake cooler than the polished. but it isn't that big of a gain...but just a thought...You can always tape the badge and paint the intake to the desired color you want...take touch up paint to paint shop and get alot more made to paint interior or engine cover if you wan't to keep the color theme to the cars color...

With AEM, the colored intakes aren't painted, they're powder-coated (100x better than paint if it's done right).
yeah powder coated is what I ment....it's colored on outside and clear coated inside...

My 2 cents.....
Red goes with Orange.
The seats have red in them.
The gauges have both red and orange in them.
Then again, I have red IC piping in my blue car.
So maybe blue would look good in an Orange car.
I got red calipers on a blue car...sounds grosss but look shit hot...once I redo them I'll get the hi temp mazda sticker for them. Someon needs t post a how-to on moifying the intale to work on atx....

How hard was it to install? Is there a FAQ/Walkthrough available? Where did you buy it? Online? How much? Why is the sky blue? Do fish drink water?
Oops, my questions got away from me... please answer any you see fit. ;)
